Red Shoes receives certification as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise

Red Shoes Inc., a leading strategic communication firm that specializes in marketing, public relations and crisis communication, was recently certified as a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) under the Wisconsin Department of Transportation.

“Accomplishing this certification is important to us,” Lisa Cruz, president and owner of Red Shoes, said. “We have experience in the transportation sector with previous and current client work. Helping transit systems respectively tell their stories to reach more people is how we help make an impact.”

DBE is a certification available through the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. To be eligible, applicants must provide a preponderance of evidence meeting all requirements, be at least fifty-one percent owned by a person who is classified as having a social or economic disadvantage, as well as a variety of other requirements.
