Appleton, Wis. (Nov. 29, 2015) – Red Shoes PR, Inc., a northeast Wisconsin strategic communication agency, has been awarded a 2015 Spectrum Award of Merit by the Wisconsin School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) for its work in school communications.
WSPRA presented the Spectrum Awards at its recent annual conference in Stevens Point, Wis. Red Shoes PR earned an Award of Merit for its marketing materials in the Racine Unified School District’s It’s My Choice campaign.
Spectrum Awards recognize high-quality public relations efforts produced by or on behalf of Wisconsin school districts. This year, the statewide competition honored 25 school districts with awards.
“There are so many amazing stories to be told in our Wisconsin school districts,” Lisa Cruz, president and owner of Red Shoes PR, Inc. said. “Red Shoes PR’s entire staff has taken pride in providing clients like Racine Unified School District with high-quality strategic communication, digital and design services to help share their stories.”
WSPRA’s Spectrum Awards are judged by members of the Illinois School Public Relations Association (INSPRA) on a four-point scale in four areas: goals and objectives, research and planning, execution and evaluation and results.
“Spectrum Award winners exemplify the very best communications work in school districts across the state,” said WSPRA President Kevin Hickman. “The winners demonstrate the value of engaging stakeholders in order to build community support for Wisconsin’s public schools.”
The Wisconsin School Public Relations Association (WSPRA) is a professional association representing schools, schools districts, educational associations, consulting agencies and organizations. WSPRA is a state affiliate of the National School Public Relations Association (NSPRA). The mission of WSPRA is to expand the capacity of its members to provide effective communication management for the purpose of strengthening educational opportunities for all students.
