Goodwill Industries NCW is in search of its next president/CEO, upon the retirement of its current CEO Bob Pedersen. Pedersen, who has been the CEO for 26 years, will retire at the end of 2017. With recruitment efforts underway, Goodwill plans to have a new president/CEO chosen by the end of the year.
The search for qualified candidates is taking place on both a local and national scale. A search committee has been established and is comprised of board members. Employment Resource Group Inc. (ERG) has been retained to conduct this search, led by ERG’s President and CEO Sharon Hulce.

Today, Goodwill NCW has 29 human services programs, has impacted the lives of more than 63,000 Wisconsinites in each of the past four years, and operates 27 retail stores and training centers, an Outlet Store (and logistics hub) in Appleton, and operates a women’s apparel website, reStitch.com. In 2016, Goodwill NCW reported revenues of $60,663,649.
The search committee is looking for an executive leader who excels at strategic planning, possesses an entrepreneurial mindset and who has more than 10 years of experience to oversee a complex blend of programming and retail operations. The new president/CEO will improve the lives and communities of north central Wisconsin through enterprise excellence, services, partnerships, collaborations and the responsible use of community resources. The position has the ultimate responsibility for enterprise success including mission delivery, growth, sustainability, accreditation, solvency and talent.
