Case Study: App Launch

We recently worked with Valley Transit to launch their new mobile app. This app is a game changer for Valley Transit because riders can now view their buses in real-time and it offers an efficient and effective way to notify bus riders of bus detours, delays or other service announcements.


This process started with a creative brief where Red Shoes laid out goals, timeline, target audience, key messaging, and creative brand elements to prepare for the launch. Having this creative brief in place allowed for a smooth and efficient launch so each key player was on the same page.


Red Shoes created print materials including posters, signs, business card handouts, flyers and advertisements. These physical elements were supported by a social media campaign.


From a public relations side, Red Shoes secured a number of media stories through radio, print publications and television.


In less than two months, Valley Transit’s app has received more than 1,000 downloads as well as receiving lots of great feedback from riders.
