Red Shoes Inc., a leading strategic communication firm that specializes in marketing, public relations and crisis communications, recently received the highest honor from the Wisconsin Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society (WHPRMS): the 2018 Carol Mehlberg Award. This award is chosen out of all submitted entries in all categories statewide and represents thorough planning, precise execution, outstanding results, as well as creativity and innovation.
In addition to the top award, Red Shoes also received the WHPRMS 2018 Award of Excellence for its work in media relations.
Red Shoes earned both awards for its role in securing media coverage for a locally known cancer center. The media stories featured a husband and wife who were both fighting cancer and received treatment on Valentine’s Day.
Red Shoes was acknowledged at the WHPRMS 2018 Annual Conference at the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells. WHPRMS recognizes excellence and superior accomplishments in the practice of healthcare public relations and marketing.

WHPRMS awards were judged by a panel of members from the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing Society on a 100-point scale in three areas: effective planning, implementation and measurable results.
